Argentina is famous for its Malbec wines. But what do we know about Bonarda, also called Douce Noir? It may be a surprise to learn it is Argentina’s second most widely planted red grape.
This wine is light and elegant, but at the same time rich inflavour. It offers a deep purple colour and is medium bodied, full of plum, black cherry, raspberry and cranberry flavours.
Good in food pairings but also lovely on its own.
